We're one of the only platforms to cover so many aspects of self-care, from moving our bodies through to CBT and everything in between.
Our approach at The Anti-Burnout Club focuses on what we call The Five Foundations of Wellness. This framework has been put together using some of the old research into human needs, combined with some of the newer research into improving mental health and well-being.
The Basics
Food, Water, Sleep. When we are struggling, sometimes even the basics can seem difficult. We have expert lessons from nutritional therapist Anna and 100s of recipes to help us focus on food. We also have lessons in various different self-care techniques (such as breath work and tapping) to improve our sleep.
Physical Health
Improving our physical health can improve our mental health, and vice versa! We believe that everyone should find a joyful movement that works for them (and that doesn’t necessarily mean hitting the gym)! We have lessons in yoga, Pilates and dance, along with mini challenges to get us all moving. Kitchen disco, anyone?
Connection
Research has proven that we thrive as humans when we’re connected to others and our amazing community does that so well! However, connection also means connecting to ourselves, our minds, our emotions, and the world around us. We can help you connect with the power of meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, EFT and more.
Mental Well-Being
Of course, one of the most important foundations to talk about all World Mental Health Day. We have two expert therapists guiding us on our journey to better mental well-being; Rachael (pictured), a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist and Gemma, a person-centered and psychodynamic counsellor. Their lessons focus on coping methods and techniques, along with theory.
Growth
Yet again, research has shown that we love to learn and grow as human beings. Our courses and challenges help us all learn and grow at The Anti-Burnout Club. On Fridays we specifically focus on all things personal development, motivation, productivity, goal-setting learning and growing.
